Animals Need Grub & Everyone's Loving Support
Sometimes a senior doesn't have enough money to always buy cat or dog food for their pet. The Animals Need Grub and Everyone's Loving Support (A.N.G.E.L.S) program will help our seniors with food supplement for their pet. This is a collaboration between the Animal Shelter Society , the Center for Seniors, and Sherry Ryan. The national program is called WALOP. This stems from the national meals on wheels program.
We received a grant for "A Pet's Christmas to Remember". This is for the home delivered meal seniors' pets. They will be getting a special Christmas stocking filled with food, treats and toys that are specified for a dog or cat. We are working with volunteers, Pet Smart, We Love Pets, The Animal Shelter, Sherry Ryan, and private donations.
