Participating in arthritis friendly exercise improves pain, function, mood and quality of life.
It can also help delay the onset of disability and may help in managing other chronic diseases. Our arthritis exercise program is done from a seated position and can be done at any fitness level. Our Activities Director, Tara Rock, instructs the class on Mondays at 10:30 AM and Thursdays at 9:30 AM. 


Line dance is perfect for those that have a love for dancing and music. For the novice dancer, there are beginners' classes on Mondays at 6:00 PM and Thursdays at 1:00 PM. For the more seasoned dancer, we offer line dancing on Tuesdays at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM and on Thursdays at 10:00 AM.


Chuck and Shirley Berry instruct our round dance classes on Tuesdays (with the exception of the 2nd Tuesday of the month) at 2:30 PM.


We hold a square dance every Friday night. The band and caller vary weekly. If you are not a regular dancer but would like to learn, we also offer square dancing class twice monthly on Mondays at 1:00 PM with Bob Pletcher in the fall. Call for schedule.


Tai Chi has multiple benefits, especially for those suffering from Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's. It relieves physical effects from stress, promotes deep breathing, improves lower body strength and balance, improves mental status, reduces blood pressure and improves pain and promotes faster recovery from strokes and heart attacks. Tai Chi is a low impact, relaxing form of exercise that uses martial art forms in a meditative way. It can be done in a sitting or standing position and is an excellent form of exercise at any level. The instructor guides the class through Yang style movements on Mondays at 9:30 AM and Thursdays at 1:00 PM.


Anne Agin of The Dancing Divas teaches our tap class on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. Tap will improve your balance and flexibility, all while having fun! No experience required; please bring your own tap shoes. 


Yoga has physical and psychological advantages. It improves balance and stability, strengthens muscles, improves flexibility and joint health, reduces high blood pressure and reduces anxiety, improves respiration and encourages mindfulness. Yoga is calm, tranquil and restorative fitness program that focuses on breathing and listening to your body. It can be done from sitting position or on the floor. A yoga mat is suggested for comfort. Megyen Green, Yoga instructor, directs the class through movement and mindfulness on Mondays at 5:00 PM and  and Fridays at 12:00 PM.

CARDIO DANCE (formerly Zumba)

Zumba, instructed by Anne Agin, is a fun, fast paced fitness program that includes easy to follow dance steps. It is a fun workout that boosts your body from top to bottom. Zumba gives you an opportunity for social interaction. It improves your heart health and mobility. It provides stress relief, builds stronger muscles and bones and aids in weight loss. Zumba is held every Thursday at 9:00 AM.
