Participating in arthritis friendly exercise improves pain, function, mood, and quality of life. It can also help delay the onset of disability and may help in managing other chronic diseases. Our arthritis program is done from a seated position and can be done at any fitness level. Our class is instructed by Tara Rock on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM.
Cardio Dance (formerly Zumba)
Cardio Dance, instructed by Anne Agin, is a fun, fast paced fitness program that includes easy to follow dance steps. It is a fun workout that boosts your body from top to bottom. It gives you an opportunity for social interaction, while improving your health and mobility. It provides stress relief, builds stronger muscles & bones, and aids in weight loss. Cardio Dance is held every Thursday at 9:00 AM.
Monday & Thursday
Geri-Fit is a 45 minute, evidence-based, ongoing strength training exercise class that works toward increasing strength and balance and helps improve gait and flexibility. Anyone at any age and fitness level can participate. It is effective in rebuilding strength, balance and range of motion, and it’s great for chronic disease management. The dates and times for Geri-Fit are TBA.

Line dance is perfect for those with a love for music and dancing. For the novice dancer, there is a Level I class on Mondays at 5:00 PM. Our intermediate (Level II) class is held Thursdays at 1:00 PM, and our Advanced (Level III) class is Tuesday at 6:00 PM. We also offer line dancing for exercise on Tuesday & Thursday at 10:00 AM.
Round dancing is a choreographed and cued ballroom dance that progresses in a circular counter-clockwise pattern around the dance floor. The two major categories of ballroom dances found in round dancing are the smooth and international ballroom styles (such as foxtrot and waltz) and the Latin dances (such as cha-cha-chá, salsa, and rhumba). Chuck & Shirley Berry instruct our round dance classes on Tuesdays (with the exception of the 2nd Tuesday of the month) at 12:30 PM.
Our square dances are held the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
Our bands and callers play on a rotating basis.
Yoga is a calm, tranquil, and restorative fitness program that focuses on breathing and listening to your body. Yoga has physical and psychological advantages. It improves balance and stability, strengthens muscles, improves flexibility and joint health, reduces high blood pressure and anxiety, improves respiration, and encourages mindfulness. It can be done from a seated position or on the floor. A yoga mat is suggested for comfort. Megyen Green, Yoga instructor, leads the class on Monday at4:00 PM.
