HOME-DELIVERED MEALS

Home-delivered meals are available to those seniors aged 60 and over who qualify. If you are interested in signing up for home-delivered meals, please contact our Outreach Specialist, Debbie Moore. She will schedule an in-home assessment with you to approve your eligibility for the program.

Our home-delivered meal routes are scheduled daily for delivery of  meals to homebound individuals throughout Muskingum County. The Center is a certified Passport provider. The Center wants to remind all home-delivered meal clients that we do not make extra visits to your home tasking you to pay for your meals. We recently received a call indicating that someone stopped at a client's home around suppertime asking for payment. You are encouraged to donate for the meal service

($3.00 per meal is suggested) but no one is denied service for the inability to pay. Donations should be made to your meal driver when the noon meal is served, or you may send a check to the Center for Seniors.

Home delivered meal clients can help the Center save food, gas, and money. If you are not going to be home to receive your meal, please call our Nutrition department at 740-454-9761, Extension 107 before 9:30 AM to let us know.
