Area Agency on Aging Region 9 |
The Area Agency on Aging Region 9, Inc. (AAA-9) first opened its doors in Cambridge in 1975 as a private non-profit Section 501(c) (3) organization. We are designated by the Ohio Department of Aging as one of America’s nearly 700 Area Agencies on Aging. We serve a nine-county area that includes Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum, and Tuscarawas Counties. |
Golden Buckeye Card |
The Ohio Department of Aging's Golden Buckeye program connects Ohio businesses with older adults and people with disabilities. The businesses offer cardholders special savings, such as discounts, waived fees, free products or services, and more. In return cardholders become loyal and faithful customers. It's a win-win for Ohio. |
Make The Connection |
Make the Connection is an online resource designed to connect Veterans, their family members and friends, and other supporters with information, resources, and solutions to issues affecting their lives. |
Meals On Wheels |
Today, the average life expectancy is at a record high of 79 years. As we get older, even the most independent among us may experience physical declines or financial hardship that strips away our independence. Add to that an increase in geographic mobility of our families, and the result is millions of seniors left behind, hungry and alone. |
Ohio Association Of Senior Centers |
The Purpose of the Ohio Association of Senior Centers is to support and enhance the ability of Ohio’s senior center network to effectively serve older adults by providing: Education, Mentoring, and Training to Senior Center and Aging Network Staff: Educational programs, workshops and seminars are offered throughout the year, including the annual conference, regional workshops and educational events cosponsored with other organizations. |
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals over 60 through opportunities to learn, laugh, and live well.
